The PADI Open Water Diver Diving Course is a comprehensive program designed to teach the fundamentals of scuba diving. Through classroom instruction, pool sessions, and open water dives, participants will learn the basics of scuba diving safety, equipment use, and underwater exploration. Upon successful completion of the course, divers will be certified as an Open Water Diver and be able to explore the underwater world with confidence. The PADI Open Water Diver Diving Course is a 3-day program that includes five dive theory lessons and four open water dives. Our diving center, located on the seashore in the Sharks Bay area, is considered the best place for learning diving and we provide a transfer from your hotel to our center. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be certified to dive to a depth of 18m. The minimum age requirement for this course is 10 years (PADI Junior Open Water Diver). People over 58 years of age require a permit-certificate from a doctor. Physical examination is not mandatory, but diving assumes the absence of serious diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, pulmonary diseases, diseases of the sinuses, ears, epilepsy, claustrophobia and mental illness. After completing the basic diving course “PADI OWD”, you can immediately enroll in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (PADI AOWD) diving course, which you will have the opportunity to dive to a depth of 30 m.
